Badshah, who has gained prominence with his unique style of music, blending hip-hop, recently recalled an anecdote about asking Shah Rukh Khan for a favour, and how the superstar’s response left him in tears.
On the Aminjaz podcast, Badshah was asked how he managed to get Shah Rukh to narrate the trailer for his ‘Ek Tha Raja album’.
Badshah expressed in Hindi that his intention with the trailer was to amaze people, leaving them stunned.He mentioned requesting 20 G-Wagons and being informed that renting them alone would cost Rs 80 lakh. Despite the cost, he insisted on including them in the trailer. Elaborating further, Badshah added that as 70 percent of the trailer was completed, he began contemplating how to enhance it further. He then contacted Pooja Dadlani, Shah Rukh Khan’s manager, mentioning that he had previously done the narration himself but now wished for Shah Rukh Khan to do it. He informed her that he needed it in three days.
Soon, the singer was surprised to receive a 30-minute audio file in his inbox. He revealed that although it contained only seven or eight lines, he realized the true essence of why Shah Rukh Khan is celebrated widely.
Badshah expressed that all the rumours and reports about Shah Rukh Khan’s professionalism were indeed true. Shah Rukh had sent those few lines in around ten different emotions, along with additional options. The rapper was also asked to reach out if he needed any further support.
