In an interview with News18, Tanishaa shared that after falling off a mountain and sustaining brain damage, she faced a massive concussion. For around one year, she had to undergo EEGs to track the swelling in her brain.It took one year for it to return to its normal size.
She did not disclose this to anyone but had to endure it for a year and manage everything as she was shooting for her first movie. She used to shoot for 2 hours and sleep for 3 hours, and the schedule was so hectic that she would often pass out. She was unable to stay awake as her brain was exhausted.

Tanishaa acknowledged the support she received from the producers during the difficulties. She did not let them stop the project and worked as much as she could. She also mentioned that she could have been better if the accident did not happen. The actress noticed a big difference between her first and second film schedules. She was gaining weight and feeling slower in her movements and expressions. She could find a lot of repetition in actions and expressions in her movies when she watched them. The audience started judging because they did not know about this. ‘Sssshhh’ was released in 2003.
