Triptii Dimri, who became a national sensation with her role in Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, recently opened up about her journey, the love she’s received from fans, and her approach to acting.
Speaking to India Today, Triptii reflected on her newfound fame, admitting that she wasn’t prepared for it and took time to understand what was happening. “Honestly, I was not prepared for it.I was used to the life I was living, and it took me a while to understand what was happening. The love you get from your fans is a special feeling,” she admitted.
Triptii stressed that she avoids taking on projects out of desperation. Reflecting on her decision to join Animal, she noted the importance of selecting roles that align with her values and goals. She also shared advice from her acting coach, who once reminded her, when she was struggling with a character, that it was important to view the character as a human being and understand her better, rather than judging her. This lesson has greatly influenced Triptii’s approach to acting.

She also talked about her preference for privacy and revealed why she prefers not to be frequently get papped around the city. She explained, “I think this is just who I am as a person. I am a very private person. Sometimes, I don’t even reply to my team; I just do my thing. I post when I feel like it because that is real life. I don’t want to put a fake picture of myself. That is where you find a connection with the audience by showing them who you really are.”
Discussing future aspirations, Triptii expressed her desire to portray mythological characters, particularly Draupadi from The Palace of Illusions, and showed interest in biopics of legendary actresses like Jaya Bachchan and Meena Kumari.
Excited for her upcoming film Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 alongside Kartik Aaryan, Triptii called the project a dream come true, praising both director Anees Bazmee and co-star Vidya Balan.
