After a successful run at the box office, the Punjabi entertainer ‘Shinda Shinda No Papa’ has made its way to OTT. The movie headlined by Gippy Grewal, Shinda Grewal, and Hina Khan, is packed with both comedy and social message.
When it was released on the big screen the cast was elated, and now the OTT run has also got them excited. The child actor and the main lead of the movie Shinda Grewal believes it is a milestone in his career.
While speaking to us exclusively, Shinda expressed his gratitude as his movie is reaching a wide audience with online release. Further, the 15-year-old star, also confessed that even at a young age he is very confident about his line of work. However, he still keeps an open mind for new avenues.
“At this point, I’m confident about my career path in acting and films. But I need to experiment more and I’m excited to grow, learn, and make impactful contributions,” said Shinda.
This discipline and confidence which he carries in his heart is a common thread between the real Shinda and the character of ‘Shinda Shinda No Papa.’ “We (real and reel Shinda) both pursue our goals with unwavering dedication,” he added.
However, we wondered that juggling studies and big projects cannot be an easy task. Thus, we asked Shinda how he managed his work and study schedule, to which he had the most candid and perfect reply. “Usually Papa (Gippy Grewal) schedules filming during my holidays even though I wouldn’t mind missing a couple days of school,” he said with a smile.
Further, recalling the days on the sets, he told us, “Shooting with Papa and a talented cast that makes you feel at home makes for so many funny moments.”
“Every day we would laugh, work, and laugh some more. I’m just glad I had this experience,” he concluded.
