Shraddha Kapoor’s ‘Stree 2’ and the Sharvari-Abhay Verma starrer ‘Munjya’ created a huge impact at the box office last year with their impeccable storytelling that resonated with the audience. Now, the makers of these horror movies have revealed their upcoming ventures from 2025 to 2028 as a New Year gift to fans, and they are drawing comparisons to the ‘Marvel Cinematic Universe’ after seeing the new poster.

Producer Dinesh Vijan, known for Maddock Films, revealed his plans to expand the horror universe, including upcoming films such as ‘Shakti Shalini’, ‘Chamunda’, ‘Stree 3’, ‘Munjya 2’, and ‘Bhediya 2’.
The first film of 2025 in this universe will be ‘Thama’, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, set for Diwali. This will be followed by ‘Shakti Shalini’ on December 31. In 2026, ‘Bhediya 2’, starring Varun Dhawan, will release on August 14, with ‘Chamunda’ following on December 4.
In 2027, ‘Stree 3’ will return with Shraddha Kapoor on August 13, followed by ‘Maha Munjya’, the sequel to ‘Munjya’, releasing on December 24.
The Maddock Horror Comedy Universe will conclude in 2028, with ‘Pehla Mahayudh’ on 11th August and ‘Doosara Mahayudh’ on Diwali, October 18. These two films are expected to serve as the grand finale of the franchise, similar to Marvel’s ‘Infinity War’ and ‘Endgame’.
