Shah Rukh Khan has an immense fan following that often leads to huge crowds whenever he’s in public. Managing such adoration can be tough, as security expert Yusuf Ibrahim, who has worked with stars like Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan, shared a memorable experience dealing with SRK’s massive fan base.
In an interview with Siddharth Kanan, Yusuf recalled an incident when Shah Rukh Khan wanted to visit the Ajmer Sharif Dargah during the IPL season. However, the timing was unfortunate as they arrived on a Friday around 12:30 PM, which coincided with peak prayer time. The crowd, typically large on Fridays, swelled to around 10-15K people, making the visit a challenging experience.
The situation at Ajmer Sharif Dargah became chaotic as news of SRK’s visit spread quickly through the town. Yusuf Ibrahim described how the crowd was so massive that they were not able to walk; instead, people pushed them through the Dargah and back to the car. The entire experience turned into a struggle against the overwhelming crowd.
Yusuf Ibrahim shared a touching memory of Shah Rukh Khan, who praised his dedication when meeting his parents. SRK acknowledged Yusuf as a hardworking individual, which deeply moved his family. Yusuf mentioned how special it was for his parents to hear such words from a global icon like SRK.
On the work front, Shah Rukh is set to star in King, which also features his daughter, Suhana Khan, in her major debut as a lead actress.
