Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani, is gearing up for her big-screen debut with Azaad, co-starring Aaman Devgan and Ajay Devgn. Even before stepping into the acting world, Rasha has been a favorite of the paparazzi and enjoys significant popularity online. Recently, she opened up about her relationship with the paps and shared how she never steps out without kajal and lip gloss.
In an interview with India Today, Rasha recalled her first encounter with the paparazzi when she went to the salon for a hair wash. “They mistook me for my mom, Raveena Tandon, because we have the same car number,” she shared. Since that day, the paparazzi became a “regular part” of her life.
Reflecting on how she deals with the constant attention, Rasha said she has learned to embrace it. “I’m always prepared. I don’t step out of my house without my kajal and lip gloss. If I’m not wearing makeup, I make sure to put on my sunglasses,” she revealed.
Initially, the scrutiny made her anxious, especially after completing the shoot of her debut film. “I would get anxious, thinking, ‘What if this picture comes out, and I look like this?’ or ‘What if I’m doing something weird?’ Trust me, there have been so many videos where I’ve thought, ‘Oh my God, why do I look like this or do that?’” Rasha admitted.
Over time, Rasha has developed a better understanding of the paparazzi and built a friendly rapport with them. She said, “I look at the shutterbugs as people and not just cameras. It has become easier for me to connect, and I am no longer intimidated by the lens.”
Directed by Abhishek Kapoor, Azaad is slated to release on January 17, 2025. Fans are eagerly awaiting Rasha’s debut as she steps into the limelight, following in her mother’s iconic footsteps.
