Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan is currently in recovery after undergoing surgery following a shocking burglary attempt at his Bandra residence that left him injured with several wounds.
According to the latest report on IANS, the actor’s surgery lasted nearly two and a half hours, and he is “currently in the recovery room”.

Meanwhile, a note shared on Kareena Kapoor Khan‘s fan page confirmed that the rest of the family, including Kareena and their two sons – Taimur and Jeh, are “doing fine.”
“We request the media and fans to be patient and not speculate any further as the Police is already doing their due investigations,” read a statement from the actor’s reps.

According to reports, the burglary incident occurred at the actor’s residence in the early hours of Thursday morning. ANI states that a man broke into the actor’s home at around 2-2.30 am, after which, Saif and the intruder had a scuffle.
While other reports claimed that the actor sustained his injuries with a sharp object, a report on PTI confirmed that the actor was stabbed with a knife. “Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was injured after an intruder attacked him with a knife at his residence in Mumbai, police said on Thursday,” read a post on PTI.
In a report on TOI, the doctors treating Khan confirmed that his injuries were ‘not life-threatening’.
An FIR is being registered against the individual while the Mumbai crime branch has also begun a parallel investigation into the incident.
