Saif Ali Khan who injured himself as he got stabbed with a knife during an attempt at burglary in his house, underwent a surgery. The actor is stable and is slowly recovering. Saif was rushed to the hospital immediately in an auto rickshaw. Now the rickshaw driver has now revealed what had really happened, thus further revealing details of Saif’s condition at that point in time.
The driver revealed that Saif had a small child with him and another person.

The doctors had also confirmed that Saif came to the hospital with his child Taimur. The rickshaw driver named Bhajan Singh Rana told ABP News, “I was in running and suddenly I heard a sound from the gate. A lady was screaming help from near the main gate saying rickshaw ruko (stop the rickshaw). Initially, I didn’t know he was Saif Ali Khan and thought of it as a normal assault case.”
Rana revealed that Saif was able to walk and he got into the rickshaw on his own. “He (Saif Ali Khan) walked towards me himself and sat in the auto. He was in an injured state. A small child and one more person was with him. Soon after sitting in my auto, Saif Ali Khan asked me ‘kitna time lagega?’ (how much time will it take to reach hospital). We reached in eight to ten minutes”.
He recalled that Saif was completely bleeding from neck and back and there was so much blood that his entire white kurta turned red. I didn’t even take the fare. I feel good that I could help him at that time,” he further added.
The doctors had revealed that they removed a 2.5 inch piece of blade from his spine after a surgery that lasted for 5 years. The Chief Operating Officer of Lilavati Hospital, Niraj Uttamani, said that Khan, who was soaked in blood after the knife attack, but he walked like a Lion and didn’t even take a stretcher. The doctor further called him a real life hero.
