Known for his relaxed Sundays, Ranbir Kapoor was spotted stepping out with his close friend and filmmaker, Ayan Mukerji, just a few weeks ago.The duo was seen enjoying a cup of coffee in Mumbai’s Bandra area. Furthermore, Ranbir, who recently experimented with various hairstyles for his role in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s ‘Animal’, surprised fans once again with a new look. A snapshot shared by hairstylist Aalim Hakim on social media revealed Ranbir sporting a low fade haircut, complemented with black glasses and attire, sparking excitement among his admirers.
Amidst the buzz surrounding his appearance, reports surfaced indicating legal hurdles for Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’, the project in which Ranbir Kapoor is set to portray Lord Ram. According to reports, Allu Mantena Media Ventures LLP claims ownership of the rights to ‘Project Ramayana’, asserting that any use or exploitation of the script or material by Prime Focus Technologies Limited or its affiliates would infringe upon their copyright. The notice further specifies that Prime Focus Technologies Limited has no claim over the ‘Project Ramayana’ material. The production company has signaled its readiness to pursue legal action to safeguard its rights, although filmmaker Nitesh Tiwari has yet to respond to these assertions.
Despite legal uncertainties, excitement for ‘Ramayana’ remains high, especially with Ranbir Kapoor essaying the iconic role of Lord Ram alongside Sai Pallavi, who portrays Sita. The film’s production has already commenced, as evidenced by leaked photos capturing Ranbir and Sai in character on the sets.
