Kangana Ranaut was allegedly slapped and abused by a CISF constable at the Chandigarh airport before boarding her flight to Delhi. It is reported that the constable, Kulwinder Kaur, was unhappy because Kangana referred to the protesting farmers as ‘Khalistanis’ and claimed that the farmers were protesting for Rs 100.
Several Bollywood celebrities, including Vivek Agnihotri, Vishal Dadlani, Ram Gopal Varma, Mika Singh, and Nana Patekar, have condemned the assault on Kangana. Now, Shekhar Suman has also voiced his support for Kangana, stating that the situation could have been handled differently.
“That is extremely wrong and very unfortunate. No one should have to experience this. It is not acceptable for anyone to express themselves in this manner; it’s illegal. They deserve to be punished for their actions. Although they had some opposition in their hearts, the way they expressed it was entirely inappropriate. There were other ways to communicate their feelings. No one should have to go through this,” Shekhar Suman told the media on Friday. He was accompanied by his son Adhyayan Suman.
