Along with her father Imran and sister Anam, Sana embarked on a spiritual quest with her son Saiyad Tariq Jamil.Inspired by the experience, Anam Mirza, sister of Sania Mirza, posted a touching photo of the girls with their father to Instagram, captioning it with a red heart emoji. Sahar Afsha, an influencer, also posted a video of her eye-opening Hajj journey with Sana, Sania, and Anam. The trio’s pictures have also made their way online.
Prior to embarking on this expedition, Sania wrote an emotional message on Instagram that read, “Dear friends and loved ones, I have been blessed with the incredible opportunity to embark on the sacred journey of Hajj. As I prepare for this transformative experience, I humbly ask for forgiveness for any wrongdoings and shortcomings. My heart is filled with gratitude for this chance to seek redemption and spiritual renewal. I pray that Allah accepts my prayers and guides me on this blessed path. I am deeply fortunate and feel immensely grateful. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I embark on this journey of a lifetime. I hope to return as a better human being with a humble heart and stronger imaan.”
For those who are unaware, Sana announced in 2020 that she was leaving acting to “serve humanity.” Six months after making the news, she married the cleric Mufti Anas Sayed.
Sania was in the news once more while she was focused on the Hajj because of rumours that she was getting married to Indian cricket player Mohammed Shami. But her father Imran Mirza told NDTV in an interview, “This is all rubbish. She has not even met him.”
The rumours were sparked by a morphed wedding photo of Sania and Sham. However, the photo was taken at Sania’s wedding to her ex-husband Shoaib Malik, where Shami’s face was superimposed on his.
Sania and Shoaib, who tied the knot in 2010, have a son named Izaan. When Shoaib married actor Sana Javed in January of this year, Sania announced their separation.
