Anjini Dhawan, the niece of talented Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, revealed that she wants to share the screen space with some of the industry’s leading stars. In a recent interview with India Today, the 24-year-old actress shared some of the wishes in her wish list. She said she wants to work with Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Vikrant Massey, among many others, including her bhaiya Varun Dhawan.
“I want to work with Ranbir Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, and Vikrant Massey. Of course, I want to work with Varun Bhaiya. I think we would have so much fun in a film together. I think someone should make that film,” she said enthusiastically.
Anjini, who recently debuted on the big screen in Binny and Family with Pankaj Kapur and Himani Shivpuri, is surely up for a good opening in the film industry. She recalled during the interaction how Varun was with her when the trailer launch of her debut film was held. He supported her during that emotional time on her special day. “I was shaken,” she confessed, talking about how her family was emotional after watching her perform, with many leaving the screening in tears.
Anjini also talked about growing up in a filmi family- the legendary David Dhawan, Rohit Dhawan, and Anil Dhawan all were part of it.
Reflecting back about her privileged background, she acknowledged that the debate on nepotism was bound to come, but admitted that it doesn’t impact her career.
For Anjini, it’s passion for acting and dedication towards the craft. She further revealed that first time being on the shooting floor was an eye opener and confessed that all her preparation in the acting classes were completely different when it came to facing the camera in real life.
