Rakul Preet Singh is always known to be quite a health enthuasiast and has also been inspiring many with her comments about keeping the environment healthy. The actress had spoken about her Diwali memories in an old interview and revealed how her father stopped her from bursting fire crackers. Rakul’s comments have gone viral again on the internet as a paparazzo shared it.
She had said in an old interview with Dainik Bhasker, “It was a memorable Diwali. My father gave me a ₹500 note and asked me to burn it. I was shocked and asked him why he was asking me to do such a thing. He told me, ‘But that is exactly what you are doing. You are buying crackers and bursting them. What if you use the money to buy some chocolates and give them to the needy.”
The actress admitted she hasn’t bursted a cracker since then. As the actress’ comments went viral, she’s been getting trolled on the internet. A person wrote, “Why you wearing expensive clothes donate them to needy 😢” Another one said, “So you eat notes when you eat chicken ?”
