Actor Suniel Shetty recently sustained a severe injury on the sets of his web show Hunter, currently being filmed in Mumbai. Known for his dedication to performing his stunts himself, Shetty was in the middle of an intense fight sequence involving four to five action performers when the accident occurred. The scene required the use of a wooden log as a prop, but due to a mistimed move, the log accidentally struck Shetty in the rib cage.

According to a source close to the development, the impact of the blow left Shetty in considerable pain. Despite his resilience and experience with action sequences, the injury appeared to be serious enough to prompt immediate concerns about his well-being. The source added that medical professionals, including a doctor, were quickly called to the set, along with an X-ray machine, to assess the severity of the injury on-site, and ensure that no fractures or internal injuries were involved.
Shetty, who has built his reputation on executing high-intensity stunts with great dedication, is known for pushing his limits to bring authenticity to his roles. However, this unfortunate incident has raised concerns among the cast and crew about his health.
