Vikrant Massey, who is often subjected to unwarranted criticism, recently spoke about his views on live-in relationships. He admitted that while he believes in the concept, he’s cautious about openly promoting it due to potential backlash.
Vikrant dated his now-wife, Sheetal Thakur, for eight years, during which they were in a live-in relationship. Though visibly nervous when asked about this, the 12th Fail actor shared that living together before marriage was a positive step for them, allowing them to understand each other well before committing for life.
“I believe in live-in relationships, but I’m not propagating it. You’ve put me in a tight spot. I’m speechless and even scared to openly talk about it,” Vikrant told The Lallantop.

He went on to explain that both he and Sheetal, who work in the acting profession, found it helpful to live together, as it allowed them to support each other more effectively before getting married. However, he stressed that this choice may not be suitable for everyone and advised that families should be kept informed when choosing a partner for life. “I don’t really know what to say because I am really scared to talk about it,” he added.
Vikrant and Sheetal tied the knot in a traditional ceremony in Himachal Pradesh in 2022 and welcomed their son, Vardaan, in February 2024.
On the work front, Vikrant Massey was last seen in Sector 36 alongside Deepak Dobriyal and Akash Khurana. He is set to appear in The Sabarmati Report, releasing on November 15, 2024, and also has Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan in the pipeline.
