Here comes a piece of great news for the fans of ‘The Chosen.’ The creator of the series Dallas Jenkins, has confirmed that ‘The Chosen Season 5’ will premiere in April 2025. This season will bring some of the major highlights by covering significant moments of the Holy Week. In addition to this, the events leading up to the crucifixion of Jesus are going to be another major highlight.

Release date
According to the latest update, Dallas Jenkins has confirmed that ‘The Chosen Season 5’ will be released in early April 2025. The confirmation came as Dallas announced the release date during a live broadcast on October 27, 2024.
He mentioned that the episodes will be released in theatres first, and the screenings will continue through the Easter period.
The makers are still discussing the exact release date, but it will be either in the first or second week of April.
Storyline
The final days of Jesus during the Holly Week will be featured in the upcoming season. Events like the cleansing of the temple, the Last Supper, and the arrest of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane will be chronicled in Season 5.

‘The Chosen Season 5’ went on the floors in April 2024 and the shooting was completed in September. In five months the events of Holy Week were captured by the cast and crew.
