Punjabi singer turn global sensation Diljit Dosanjh is currently enjoying the India leg of his Dil-Luminati tour. He was recently in Hyderabad, performing a full power-packed show for his fans. During the very live show, he extended Guru Nanak Jayanti’s wishes to his admirers.
Taking to his social media handle, Diljit Dosanjh shared a video in which was seen paying homage to Guru Nanak Dev along with his team. In the caption of the video, the ‘Jind Mahi’ singer Diljit wrote about the three pillars of Guru Nanak’s teachings: Kirat Karo (honest living), Naam Japo (chant), and Vand Shako (share with others). The video soon went viral getting likes and comments instantly. “I wish people actually start following guru nanak dev ji’s teaching’s in life, the world would become heaven <3,” wrote a fan, while many others extended Gurupurab wishes.
Hyderabad was a part of his Dil-Luminati India Tour. The singer is expected to visit 10 cities in the India leg, it started with his performance in Delhi, followed by Jaipur, and now after Hyderabad his next destination on the list is Ahmedabad.
Besides his infectious performance, Diljit’s Hyderabad visit made the news as the singer received a notice from the Telangana government ahead of the show. The notice asked him not to perform songs that promote alcohol, drugs or violence. It also warned Dosanjh not to “use children” during his show.
Meanwhile, on the movie front, Diljit Dosanjh has ‘No Entry 2’ and ‘Border 2’ in the pipeline. And as far as Punjabi cinema is concerned, his next movie is the third installment of ‘Sardaarji.’
