On 25th December, he vulnerably shared his experience of dealing with an underwater current that nearly swept him and his girlfriend. He shared a detailed post about his near-drowning experience, which went viral instantly. His fans were very concerned about his well-being and felt relieved after knowing that he was safe and sound. Details about the near-drowning experience
In his long post, Ranveer mentioned that in the evening while they (he and his girlfriend) were having a casual dip in the open ocean water, the current overthrew them making them struggle to stay afloat. Even though they both are experienced swimmers, the water’s pressure got to them and he nearly fainted by swallowing a lot of water. After calling for help, the nearby families helped them, including an IPS officer (husband) and an IRS officer (wife). A casual outing nearly turned into a life-threatening situation. He also mentioned that he had experienced this earlier as well, but it is difficult when you have a companion with you. With his changed perspective on his life, he took his time out to thank God. The eventful Christmas left him a bit unsettled yet he feels grateful for his life, ending the caption with ‘I guess 2025 is going to be more blessed than ever. We lived for a reason!’
