Soon-to-be mom Athiya Shetty and Anushka Sharma are in Melbourne to cheer for their respective partners KL Rahul and Virat Kohli. At the moment, Team India is in Melbourne for the test series against Australia as a part of the 2024-25 Border Gavaskar Trophy. During the fourth test between India and Austrailia, both Anushka and Athiya were spotted sitting in the stands.

Though, it wasn’t a good day as KL Rahul got out at 0 runs in 5 balls and Virat’s wicket was taken at 5 runs in 29 balls. India needed to make 340 runs to win the match however, with these two big wickets going on so early, both Anushka and Athiya were shocked. They had their hands in the mouth and this reaction went viral on the internet.
Netizens feel that Anushka and Athiya’s reaction was a representation of the entire country’s reaction to see both Virat and Rahul getting out. While Anushka was seen in a striped white and blue shirt and a pair of shorts, Athiya was seen in a white shirt.

Meanwhile, Athiya and Rahul are expecting their first child. The couple tied the knot in January 2023 and they announced in November this year that they’re expecting their first child. Their post read, “Our beautiful blessing is coming soon. 2025.”
On the other hand, Anushka and Virat are proud parents to two beautiful kids – Vamika and Akaay. Their son was born in February 2023 and since then, Anushka and Virat have largely been spending time away from India, in order to protect the privacy of their children.
