Actor Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, has openly praised the work of Telugu actor Allu Arjun, expressing her wish for her son, Yashvardhan Ahuja, to emulate the star’s dedication. In a recent interview, Sunita revealed her admiration for Allu Arjun‘s performance in Pushpa, sharing her excitement about watching its first-day, first-show screening.
Speaking to Hindi Rush, Sunita reflected on contemporary cinema and highlighted her enthusiasm for Allu Arjun’s success. She shared: “Main kabhi theatre zyada jaati nahi hoon, lekin maine mere bete ko bola mujhe Pushpa dekhni hi hai, vo bhi first day first show. What a film it is” (I usually don’t go to theatres much, but I told my son that I absolutely have to watch Pushpa, and that too on the first day, first show).
She admitted that she has become a fan of Allu Arjun, saying: “Whenever I go to Hyderabad, I’ll meet him for sure. Kitna mehnat kiya hai bacche ne. Aisa bhi nahi ki six-pack hai ya sundar hai… but dekho uska kaam. Main apne bete ko aise hi bolti hoon ‘Tu aise hi kaam karne ka’” (The amount of hard work that boy has put in is incredible. It’s not like he has a six-pack or is conventionally handsome… but just look at his work. I always tell my son to work like that).
The Allu Arjun-starrer Pushpa 2: The Rule became a box office sensation, earning over Rs 1800 crore worldwide. Directed by Sukumar, the film also featured Rashmika Mandanna in a key role.
