The ongoing feud between Blake Lively and ‘It Ends With Us’ director Justin Baldoni, has become the hit new celebrity scandal that fans on social media can’t get enough of. Following the actress’ formal suit against the director, alleging harassment and a coordinated campaign to attack her reputation for coming forward about her treatment on the set is reportedly set to be countered by Baldoni, who is rumoured to be getting ready to sue this actress. Baldoni, who has already filed a $250 million lawsuit against The New York Times for libel in its story on her allegations, has denied the allegations against him and even released screenshots of his messages with Lively and the team, to dismiss her claims.
The legal drama unfolding on social media, has seemingly ignited wild speculation of a possible case of an ‘affair gone wrong’. Sharing their reaction to the many reports and counter-claims made over the past week since the New Year’s Eve lawsuit filing, netizens took to their handles to say, “Hear me out… all this drama and suing between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni is from an affair gone wrong.”

Amidst the chatter, a throwback behind-the-scenes video of Lively giving co-star Baldoni tips on perfecting their intimate scene in the film adaptation has gone viral, adding fuel to an already raging fire of speculation and controversy. The clip, shows Lively strapping an arm around Baldoni’s waist and pulling him close. While the actress seemingly guides the actor and director about the scene to be shot, he is seen standing still with his arms by his side and maintaining eye-contact with the actress.
In the film, Lively plays the role of Lily Bloom in the adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s best-selling novel, while Baldoni, who also directs the film, stars as Ryle Kincaid.
The clip has ignited rumours when it was shared on TikTok with the caption ‘Watch Blake Lively get nervous when the interviewer says she watched her teach Justin Baldoni how to be intimate.’
In the interview, the actress talks about shooting intimate scenes and says, “I just want to be clear that you should not be the intimacy coordinator, you should definitely hire intimacy co-ordinators, which we did have.”
When asked about a viral video, where she was seen ‘teaching Justin to pull you in’, Lively asked, “Where have you seen this?”
When a co-star also seated for the same interview admitted to the authenticity of the clip and admitted that she saw it on Instagram, Blake said, “I think that romance is really important. You’re supposed to tell a story…” she said.
During the shoot, several steamy kissing scenes that the co-stars filmed on the busy city streets, turned up online, creating buzz around the film that went on to score over $300 million at the box office.
