Shalini Passi recently opened up about the growing trend of young girls opting for Botox and emphasized the importance of self-love. She expressed concern over teenagers resorting to cosmetic procedures.
She told Hauterrfly, “Nowadays, I watch a lot of girls panicking during hormonal changes. These changes will happen for 2 to 3 years and later settle down. Especially now, I’ve seen that it has become a trend among 18- to 19-year-old girls getting Botox, etc. It is wrong because your body has not developed yet. Even getting things done at the age of 22 is not right.”
Shalini stressed the importance of self-acceptance, saying confidence comes from embracing natural features, like a grandmother’s hair or a father’s nose. She encouraged the younger generation to understand that the lifestyles they admire are often not real.
The 48-year-old art collector and Delhi socialite, who gained fame on Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, is admired for her glowing skin and positive outlook. During her earlier media interaction, she credited her radiant complexion to a daily beetroot smoothie, rich in antioxidants that combat skin ageing. “It naturally helps my skin glow,” she revealed, alongside her morning ritual of warm water and lemon for detoxification and antioxidant benefits.
Shalini follows a holistic approach to wellness, starting her day with meditation. Her fitness routine includes an hour of dance for cardio, followed by weights and Pilates. She avoids alcohol, smoking, aerated drinks, sugar, and carb-heavy foods, while focusing on organic eating and maintaining a good sleep schedule.
On the reality show, Shalini humorously shared, “The reason I don’t hold grudges is because it affects my skin,” a statement that resonated with fans and sparked a wave of viral videos.
