Saif Ali Khan was stabbed at his house in Mumbai during an attempt of robbery. The actor was rushed to the hospital where he underwent a surgery. Dr Nitin Dange who performed the surgery, updated the media about his health. He said yesterday, “Saif Ali Khan was admitted to the hospital at 2 am with alleged history of assault by some unknown person. He sustained a major injury to the thoracic spinal cord due to a lodged knife in the spine.

A surgery was performed to remove the knife and repair leaking spinal fluid. Two other deep wounds on his left hand and one other on his neck were repaired by the plastic surgery team. He is completely stable now. He is recovering well and out of danger now.”
Now according to the latest update by him, Saif has been discharged from the ICU and has been shifted to a special room. He also shared that Saif’s condition is better and he can walk now, there’s no problem in walking. “We have advised him to rest for a few days,” he said.
There are restrictions on the number of guests coming to visit him as his spine injury is delicate and may get infected.
In the press conference, the doctors informed that there was a wound on his back and he escaped serious injury by just two millimeters. He came to the hospital with his small child. ”We are monitoring his health progress and only then will we take a decision regarding his discharge. Now, it will take a week for him to recover completely. We will not talk about whether the police has sought time for Saif’s statement or not,” said the doctors.
The police has now detained the accused who was caught on the CCTV footage.
