Bollywood actress and model Sherlyn Chopra has sparked curiosity among her fans after she was spotted on a night out with a baby.
The actress’ appearance with a baby girl has given way to speculation that she has embraced motherhood and adopted a child. However, an official statement is still awaited.
Sherlyn stepped out on Wednesday night, carrying the little one in her arms as she headed to a plush restaurant in the city. Taking to her handle, she also posted photos with the baby and penned a caption that read, “A blessing that no one can replace…”
The post further led to widespread speculation that the actress has legally adopted the child. While details about the baby and her name remain undisclosed, in a viral clip, Sherlyn seemed to have no qualms with the paparazzi referring to her as “mummy.”
In the videos from last evening, Sherlyn is seen struggling to free her hair from the little one’s grasp. However, as the baby held on to her hair, the paparazzi tried encouraging her saying, “Mummy ka baal chod do… (Let go of mummy’s hair).”
While fans await a formal confirmation, some went ahead to congratulate her and wish her the best for motherhood. A fan took to the comments to say, “Wow God bless you.”
Another wrote, “Congratulations!” while others filled the comments section with heart emoticons and wrote, “You’re baby is so cute.”
This personal update comes after the actress revealed late last year that she cannot become a mother owing to an autoimmune disorder called Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). According to Sherlyn, the disorder caused a kidney failure back in 2021. Revealing that she is on medication for the same, the actress revealed in a previous interview that she was advised never to get pregnant “because it could be life-threatening for both the baby and the mother.”
Hinting that she was ready to embrace motherhood, she admitted that she was exploring options available in India with the hope to have at least three to four children. She even revealed that she was ‘obsessed’ with the letter ‘A’ and would probably name her child with names that start with ‘A.’
