British actor Mark Strong, known for his roles in Sherlock Holmes, Kingsman, and Dune: Prophecy, has made a quiet entry into India and is already out and about touring Rajasthan.
The actor on Friday, took to his social media handle to share glimpses from his day out in Jaipur city. Dressed in the perfect summer wear, the actor shared pictures of himself and other stunning pictures from his trip, while expressing his admiration for the culture, history, and warm hospitality. “Enjoying Jaipur in Rajasthan. Amazing place and wonderful people,” he captioned the post.
Fans quickly flooded the comments section expressing their excitement on his visit. Among the many posts that filled his comments was one from his ‘Dune’ co-star, Tabu, who extended a warm welcome. “Welcome to India!!!” she said.
The two actors, who were seen together in the ‘Dune’ spin-off series. The two played on-screen love interests. In the HBO Max series, Tabu played the role of Sister Francesca opposite Strong’s Emperor Javicco Corrino.
Strong’s journey took him to the historic city of Jaipur, where he visited the majestic forts, vibrant markets, and got a glimpse of rich Rajasthani heritage. His visit also included a stop at the famed Amrapali Museum, known for its breathtaking collection of jewellery and artefacts.

It remains to be seen if the actor will visit Indian shores once again with his movie ‘Everest’ currently in production. The film that also stars ‘Outlander’ actor Sam Heughan and ‘Star Wars’ fame Ewan McGregor, follows a British mountain climber, who makes multiple attempts to scale Mt. Everest throughout the 1920s.
