Actress Vidya Balan who is married to Indian film producer Siddharth Roy Kapur, opened up about the bad experience she had with her first relationship and how it ended badly.
In an interview with Indian Express, Viday recounted how she discovered that the person she was dating had cheated on her. She mentioned, “I have experienced betrayal. The first boy I dated cheated on me and I have to tell you he was just an a**.I recall the moment we broke up, and coincidentally, I ran into him at college on Valentine’s Day. He casually mentioned, ‘I’m meeting my ex-girlfriend for a date.’ I was taken aback. That incident deeply hurt me, but I’ve moved on and achieved greater things in life.”
When asked about what type of men she was into, back in the day, the ‘Sherni’ actress humorously remarked, “I used to be attracted to jerks. Looking back, they all seem like jerks; that’s the only pattern I can recognize. I guess I had a thing for them,” she chuckled. In the same conversation, she disclosed that she wasn’t someone who hopped from one relationship to another; instead, she had dated a few men before entering her first serious and long-term relationship with Siddharth, whom she later married.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Vidya will be next seen in the upcoming romantic comedy film ‘Do Aur Do Pyaar’. It also stars Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D’Cruz and Sendhil Ramamurthy. It is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 19, 2024.
