Mollywood films ‘Manjummel Boys’ and ‘Premalu‘ created a significant impact in Kollywood and Tollywood, respectively, when they were originally released in February. ‘Premalu’ got a Telugu version by SS Rajamouli’s son, SS Karthikeya. The movie became the highest-grossing Telugu-dubbed Malayalam film, according to the distributors. Now, Lady Superstar Nayanthara took to her Instagram account to share her honest review about the movie.
On April 17, Nayanthara shared a snapshot of her TV screen while binge-watching the movie. She wrote, “Good films just make me happy,” (with a lot of love emojis). The snap features Naslen’s character having a phone call in the opening scenes. Apart from Nayans, SS Rajamouli, Sivakarthikeyan, and more took to their social media accounts to shower praises on the film last month.

Directed by Girish AD, ‘Premalu’ featured Naslen, Mamitha Baiju, Sangeeth Prathap, Shyam Mohan, Meenakshi Raveendran in main roles. The film was an entertaining narration about a group of Malayali youngsters and their lives in Bengaluru city. It was released in theaters on February 9 and later dubbed into Telugu by SS Karthikeyan and released on March 8. The movie hit the prestigious Rs 100 crore club worldwide. According to sacnilk, in Tollywood, it crossed Rs 12.04 crore.
