Recalling the time when she immersed herself in the character of Silk Smitha, Vidya told Samdish Bhatia that she was being called unabashed and unapologetic because she was bearing it all in the film. She realised that if you develop a more positive relationship with your own body, then it has nothing to do with your size. “That really freed me. Then, of course, it’s been a process,” she said.
When asked about how her relationship with intimacy has evolved alongside her changing perspective on her body, Vidya shared that she has always enjoyed lovemaking and has been open about understanding her desires.

Asked if it has become better, Vidya replied, “For sure, I’ve always been (open about exploring her preferences). I’ve always had a voice where it mattered.”
