The post-match presentation ceremony, however, saw a moment of unease for renowned cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle, while he was speaking to GT captain Shubman Gill.
Bhogle congratulated Gill on securing two points for his team, albeit with a hint of scepticism about the nervy nature of their victory, saying, “Well done, you got two points tonight. I must admit some of us thought you left it too late, but well done today!”
To this, Gill responded with a grin, stating, “Thank you. When GT is playing, don’t think (like) that.”

Earlier in the match, Rajasthan posted a formidable total of 196/3, propelled by a magnificent partnership of 130 runs between skipper Sanju Samson (68 off 38 balls) and Riyan Parag (76 off 48 balls).
The GT run-chase began with a solid opeing stand between Sai Sudarshan (35 off 29 balls) and Gill. But Kuldeep Sen’s (3/41) burst in the middle-overs saw wickets falling quickly. But Gill’s 72-run knock kept the Titans in contention until his dismissal in the 16th over, when the game became tight again.
