On April 15, Arbaaz shared an emotional yet lengthy note on his Instagram account, stating that many people outside the family are spreading rumors that it was a publicity stunt.Some are claiming that close associates of the Salim family are giving false statements to the media, stating that the family remained unaffected after the incident. He began writing, “The recent incident of firing by two unidentified persons on a motorcycle at Galaxy Apartment, the residence of the Salim Khan family, is very disturbing and unnerving. Our family has been taken aback by this shocking incident that took place. Unfortunately, some people claiming to be close to our family and pretending to be spokespersons have been making baseless statements to the media, saying it’s all a publicity stunt and that the family remains unaffected, which is not true. These views should not be taken seriously.”
The actor confirmed that they are still in shock and are trying to cooperate with the Mumbai police to assure the safety of their family members. He continued, “No member of the Salim Khan family has made any statement regarding this incident to the media. At this time, the family is helping and cooperating with the police in the investigation of this untoward incident. We have faith in the Mumbai police, and we have been assured they will do everything in their capacity to protect and secure our family. Thank you everyone for your love and support.”

Yesterday, outside Galaxy Apartments in Mumbai’s Bandra, where the actor resides, two individuals on a motorcycle discharged four rounds before fleeing. CCTV footage from the area captured the suspects wearing caps and carrying backpacks, firing towards the actor’s residence. One suspect wore a white t-shirt, black jacket, and denim pants, while the other wore a red t-shirt and denim pants. Police sources identify both as members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Bishnoi is currently incarcerated in Tihar Jail for his involvement in various high-profile murders, including those of musician Sidhu Moose Wala and Rajput leader and Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi.
