The newly single hunk was spotted together with his ‘Metro… In Dino‘ co-star at their director Anurag Basu‘s birthday celebrations. The director turned a year older on Wednesday and celebrated his special day with a few near and dear ones, including the lead actors of his upcoming movie.
A video going viral from the celebrations sees the director reaching out to his guests to offer them his birthday cake.Standing to one side were two individuals, who are said to be Sara and Adi. The clip also features the director teasing Adi by pretending to throw some cake in his mouth.
The duo’s joint appearance has ignited speculation about their rumoured love life. While some believe that the two may just be an item, others brushed it aside, citing that they were just co-actors.
“They’re filming Metro 2 together. It came up during KWK too with the Ananya/Sari episode,” a fan noted.
Sara and Aditya will play on-screen lovers in Anurag Basu’s upcoming movie ‘Metro… In Dino’ which is now slated to release on September 13, 2024. The film is a sequel to Basu’s 2007 movie ‘Life in a… Metro’, and will feature an ensemble cast including
Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkana Sensharma, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh.
‘Metro… In Dino’ was previously scheduled to release in theatres in December 2023, before it was moved to March 29, 2024.
On the personal front, Aditya reportedly ended his 2-year romance with Ananya Panday. Sara, on the other hand, has been keeping her love life under wraps after heightened interest and media scrutiny of her romances.
