Kartik Aaryan‘s maternal uncle and aunt – Manoj Chansoria and his his wife Anita passed away on May 13 due to a hoarding crash in Mumbai. A dust story caused a hoarding to collapse in Ghatkoper in Mumbai, which caused the death of 16 individuals. Kartik’s maternal uncle and aunt also passed away. Kartik had attended their funeral in the city.
Meanwhile, there were speculations that the trailer launch of Kartik’s film ‘Chandu Champion’ will be cancelled in Gwalior.But a source told ETimes, “Kartik is grieving over the accidental death of his uncle and aunt but has refused to cancel the trailer launch of Chandu Champion that is taking place at his home town Gwalior.”
A source close to the production house, further revealed the real reason for Kartik to not cancel this event. “Kartik felt the hard work of three years to make Chandu champion by the entire team shouldn’t be affected by his personal grief so told the makers to go ahead as per the plan,” said the source.
Kartik’s first look from ‘Chandu Champion’ indeed shows his hard work and his physical transformation for the part, left everyone stunned. The film is directed by Kabir Khan. Kartik is currently shooting for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3‘.
