In a new interview with ETimes, Shreyas revealed how he missed being a part of biopics of some renowned personalities. “Nagesh Kukunoor was planning a biopic on Kishore Kumar.I was supposed to play his part in the film. I was looking forward to that. Similarly, I think there was a movie being made on MF Hussain, where he had signed me for his own biopic. Unfortunately, these films never got made,” he said.
The actor further added, “I think Yuvraj Singh’s (cricketer) story is absolutely inspiring. I won’t be the right person to portray that now. But whoever tells that story, I think it’s going to be phenomenal.”

In an earlier interview with India Today, Shreyas spoke about his character in ‘Emergency’. He expressed that he doesn’t feel pressured about audience reception. He believes that if the performance is good, it will be appreciated. Shreyas praised Pankaj Tripathi, confident in his talent, acknowledging that the success of a film can be unpredictable.
Shreyas noted that it often takes a few years to objectively assess a film’s strengths and weaknesses. He praised Pankaj Tripathi’s likely excellent performance and mentioned his own efforts in ‘Emergency.’ He acknowledged that, with social media, audiences can immediately share their opinions, whether positive or critical, directly with actors.
