Reflecting on the importance of voting, Sangram Singh shared, “I have been voting for the last 10 years. I always vote for my country.We always say change the country, but the country will change only when we come out and cast our vote. The most beautiful thing is that our country is the largest democratic country in the world, so we should come out and vote for a strong country. To Pahle Matdaan Aur Phir Jalpan.”
Several Bollywood celebrities including Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Farhan Akhtar and Tabu stepped out to exercise their right to vote. While Ranveer and Deepika cast their votes at a polling booth in Bandra, Dhawan and Kapoor took to their social media accounts to encourage others to vote. Filmmaker Zoya Aktar and mother Honey Irani also accompanied Farhan to cast their votes.
