Despite having a limited filmography in Bollywood, Fawad Khan had a significant influence on Indian fans. The Pakistani actor recently talked about his friendship with Ranbir Kapoor, his co-star in ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’. Fawad stated that he’s still in touch with Ranbir because he has a very good relationship with the Kapoor family.
During an interview with Pinkvilla, Fawad was questioned about talking to Ranbir Kapoor.He said, “I’m in touch on and off. Hamari baat ho jaati hai kabhi chat pe and on phone so I’ve been in touch and I have enjoyed a very good relationship with the Kapoor family and there is still a lot of love and respect even with Karan and Shakun. So dostiyaan hain and then there’s some producers friends jiske saath gap shap lagi rehti hai aur then we make plans of meeting somewhere so on and off we talk. We keep in touch and we’re still very cordial and still very friendly and there’s no love lost.”
For the unversed, Fawad Khan made his debut in Bollywood with Shashanka Ghosh’s film ‘Khoobsurat’ alongside Sonam Kapoor. He then worked in Shakun Batra’s ‘Kapoor And Sons’ also starring Sidharth Malhotra, Alia Bhatt, Rishi Kapoor, Rajat Kapoor and Ratna Pathak Shah. Later, he acted in Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ starring Ranbir, Anushka Sharma and Aishwarya Rai in pivotal roles. Fawad portrayed the character of Anushka’s husband in the film and also shared screen space with Ranbir.
On the work front, Fawad’s new series ‘Barzakh’ will be released on Zee5 on July 19.
