After a slow start at the box office during its opening weekend, the film’s fortunes seem to be improving. A report on Sacnilk.com states that ‘Sarfira’ earned an estimated Rs 2 crore nett on Day 6, a slight increase from Tuesday’s collections of approximately Rs 1.95 crore.The film, which accumulated Rs 13.45 crore in its first four days, saw an upward trend in box office performance on Tuesday and continued this trajectory on Wednesday.
The movie had one of the lowest openings for an Akshay Kumar film, earning around Rs 2.5 crore on Friday. However, collections surged by 70% on Day 2, bringing in an estimated Rs 4.25 crore. The film reached its peak collection on Sunday, with earnings of Rs 5.25 crore.
Sarfira’s nett total now stands at an estimated Rs 17.55 crore. Additionally, the film earned an estimated Rs 4 crore from international markets, pushing its worldwide total to an estimated Rs 22.25 crore.
The film faces stiff competition at the box office from Kamal Haasan‘s ‘Indian 2’. Both films were released on July 12, but ‘Indian 2’ has already crossed the Rs 100 crore mark globally, earning an estimated total of Rs 117.45 crore. The Kollywood film has a gross collection of an estimated Rs 75.95 crore.
