Josh Hall has broken his silence on his divorce from Christina Hall.
The realtor opened up about his recent split with an Instagram post on Saturday telling his followers that he “did not ask for” his marriage to end.
“I prefer privacy, especially during something as life-changing as a divorce I did not ask for,” Josh, 43, wrote alongside the photo.
In the photo, Josh can be seen laying his head on his dog, Stella.
“I will not publicly badmouth anyone as people have families, friends and others who respect and love them. Unfortunately, the internet is forever,” he added.
“We are real humans, this is our life and I am not here to entertain people I don’t know with my private matters. Those details will be handled fairly behind closed doors with our respective counsels in due time.”
He closed, “Those who know each of us, know who we are.”
Josh initiated their divorce proceedings after three years of marriage on July 15. He told the court that he and Christina, 41, had separated on July 8, according to the legal docs.
He also cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for their divorce.
As part of his filing, Josh is asking Christina to pay him alimony and wants to terminate the court’s ability to award her financial support.
He is asking the court to divide their assets based on what they each owned before they walked down the aisle in October 2021.
While Josh was the first to file for the divorce, sources recently told TMZ that Josh was “blindsided” and “sad” by the split and claimed she initiated their breakup by lawyering up after a big verbal disagreement — Christina later refuted that claim.
“He knew there were ups and downs in their marriage, but never expected his relationship with Christina would end this way,” the insider claimed.
“Josh was seriously committed to Christina … as his social, professional and romantic lives all revolved around her.”
The “Flip or Flop” alum also spoke on the divorce last week, calling her estranged third husband an “insecure man” after he allegedly took $35,000 from her bank account.
“I have worked my ass off to build this life for myself and my children and anyone who would try and take what they do not deserve/what they did NOT work for should be ashamed,” Christina wrote on her Instagram Story.
“An insecure man with a large ego can sure try and derail you,” she continued, adding that she will proceed to “rise” above him.
Josh denied any wrongdoing at the time.
