Salim Khan has purchased a luxurious new car, a Mercedes Benz GLS, amidst ongoing death threats directed at his son, Salman Khan. This situation has raised concerns about the safety of the Khan family, particularly in light of recent incidents and threats linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
On the auspicious occasion of Dhanteras, Salim Khan acquired a striking white Mercedes Benz GLS, which is valued at approximately Rs1.32 crore. The car was adorned with garlands and a bow, symbolizing the festive spirit. It was spotted making rounds near Salman Khan’s residence in Bandra. This purchase comes shortly after Salman Khan himself upgraded his security measures and bought a bulletproof Nissan Patrol SUV from Dubai for around Rs 2 crore.
The Khan family has been under threats, and the situation escalated after the tragic shooting of Baba Siddique, a close friend of Salman Khan, on Dusshera. The gang has been sending threats against Salman Khan prompting him to enhance his personal security.
Salman had received a new death threat alongside Zeeshan Siddique, Baba Siddique’s son on Friday. A 20-year-old suspect from Noida allegedly made threatening calls demanding money in exchange for not harming Zeeshan.
In an interview with BBC Hindi, Zeeshan Siddique expressed his views on Salman Khan. He stated that he does not regard Salman as just a celebrity but rather as a close friend of his family. Zeeshan emphasised that Salman has been supportive during this difficult time and has been in frequent contact with them since his father’s passing. He noted that the actor often shares how troubled he feels and struggles to sleep due to the ongoing threats.
