‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3‘ is clashing with ‘Singham Again‘ this Diwali and for few days, the war for the number of screens has continued. Finally, the conclusion is that every theatre, single screens especially, will give a 50-50 percent ratio of screens to both the movies. Meanwhile, PVR Inox was in a dilemma and eventually has gone ahead with 60-40 percent ratio. But the advance bookings for ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ is having an edge over ‘Singham Again’ as it had opened a day earlier.
As of now, about two lakh twenty nine thousand, five hundred and fifty eight (2,29,558) tickets have been sold for the first day. The collection of the advance booking so far, uptil Thursday morning was Rs 7.39 crore and by the end of the day, it may only get better.
Not to mention, the current sales will also play a huge role and so will the weekend numbers. Since ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ had advances open a day prior to ‘Singham Again’, the latter is playing catch up. The trade predicts that eventually, ‘Singham Again’ may turn out to be the movie with more numbers, however, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ will give the movie a tough competition in circuits like East Punjab, West Bengal and Mysore. Meanwhile, ‘Singham Again’ is expected to dominate hugely in Maharashtra, owing to the fact that it’s strongly rooted in this culture and has a huge fan following in Maharashtra.
Trade websites like Box Office India, predict that the industry needs a good Rs 200 crore total collection in three days from both the films!
