Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have been married for around 16 years now. They got married in 2007 and have a daughter Aaradhya. Since the last few months, rumour mills are abuzz that all’s not well between them. These rumours went overboard as one doesn’t see Aishwarya along with the entire family. But clearly, the truth may seem far from these rumours. Because, here’s recalling the time when Jaya Bachchan had opened up on her relationship with bahu Aishwarya.
The ‘Abhimaan’ actress had said during a chat with Rediff, “She is my buddy. If I don’t like something about her, I tell her on her face. I don’t do politics behind her back. If she disagrees with me, she expresses herself.”
She further added, “Only difference is that I can be little more dramatic and she has to be more respectful. I am old, you know. That’s all.”
During one of the early episodes of ‘Koffee With Karan‘, when Jaya along with daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda had appeared on the show, Karan Johar asked the one advice that they have for Aishwarya.
Shweta had reacted and said that Aishwarya is just perfect and doesn’t need any advice. Meanwhile, Jaya Bachchan had said, that she should just continue loving Abhishek the way she does!
On work front, Jaya Bachchan was last seen in ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’.
