Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao had tied the knot in 2005. They were together for many years till they announced their divorce in 2021. However, they continue to be great friends and will always be family to each other as they also co-parent their son Azaad Rao. Meanwhile, they share a great working rapport which one saw with ‘Laapataa Ladies‘ which was directed by Kiran and produced by Aamir. In a recent interview, post their divorce, Aamir revealed that Rao gave him a list on how to be a better husband.
He said during a chat with The Hollywood Reporter India, “Isne mujhey kabhi nhi pucha ‘How to be a better wife?’ Pucho toh mai batata hu list. (She [pointing at Kiran Rao] never asked me ‘How to be a better wife?’ If she asks, I will share the list.)”
Aamir further elaborated on those 11 points and said that one of the point in this list was that he doesn’t allow other people to talk. Meanwhile, during this chat, Aamir also spoke about his long break from movies and ‘Sitaare Zameen Par‘ which is his next film.
He said, “In many ways I feel it’s way ahead of Taare Zameen Par because in the film, the person who was with the challenge in the film, who was Ishaan, was helped by my character.”
Aamir described ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’ as a humourous film and it also stars Genelia D’souza Deshmukh. Apart from his acting projects, Aamir has largely gotten into production as he wanted to create much more content. One of them is ‘Lahore 1947’ starring Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta.
