Filmmaker Rohit Shetty’s highly anticipated venture ‘Singham Again‘ hit theaters on November 1, amassing more than Rs 200 crores in total. In a recent interview, Rohit reflected on the making of his 2009 film ‘All The Best’. During the filming, Fardeen Khan requested to be replaced as his father, actor Feroz Khan, was hospitalized. Given Feroz Khan’s critical condition, Fardeen wanted to stay by his father’s side, stepping away from his movie commitments.
Rohit revealed that both he and Ajay Devgn decided not to replace Fardeen, even if it meant delaying the film. “Feroz Khan was very ill, and the doctors had given up hope—it was a serious situation. Fardeen was uncertain about what might happen next, and he asked us to proceed by replacing him, but we chose to wait,” Rohit said in a recent interview with a YouTube channel.

Rohit also shared that they initially planned to shoot the film in Goa, but the schedule coincided with the monsoon season by the time filming was set to begin. He recalled that cast member Mugdha Godse had an accident just days before shooting. Rather than replace her, they adjusted the timeline to accommodate her recovery.“We modified the schedule to fit her scenes and didn’t replace her. She recovered in a week but wore a neck bandage, which she would remove while filming a shot and put back on afterward,” Rohit added.
‘All the Best: Fun Begins’ also starred Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, Bipasha Basu, Johnny Lever, and Sanjay Mishra in key roles.
