Actor-turned-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar confirmed ‘Don 3‘ with Ranveer Singh earlier this year, and now new reports are stirring on the internet about actor Vikrant Massey joining the cast for the third part of the successful franchise.
According to India Today, the ’12th Fail’ actor is expected to play the main villain in the movie. It also revealed that Vikrant has been approached for the role of the main antagonist in ‘Don 3’ opposite Ranveer Singh, but the actor has yet to sign the offer.
Neither Vikrant nor Farhan has confirmed the report, but the news has already created immense excitement among fans.

Earlier this year, Farhan clarified why he replaced Shah Rukh Khan with Ranveer for the third part of the ‘Don’ franchise, explaining that he wanted the role to be played by a young, charming star from the next generation.
Vikrant Massey previously portrayed a negative character in ‘Sector 36‘, where he played a psychopathic killer. His performance received positive responses from both critics and fans alike.
On the work front, Vikrant is currently gearing up for the release of ‘The Sabarmati Report’, alongside Raashi Khanna and Ridhi Dogra. The movie will hit theaters on November 15.
Meanwhile, Ranveer was last seen in Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’, along with Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and Arjun Kapoor. He reprised his role as Simmba in the movie and received positive responses for his portrayal. Apart from Farhan Akhtar’s ‘Don 3’, Ranveer has also signed an action film with ‘Uri’ director Aditya Dhar.
