Shraddha Kapoor arrived with her family to cast her vote in Maharashtra Assembly elections. Videos shared on social media show the actress being surrounded by excited polling booth workers, eager to take selfies with the Stree 2 star.
Shraddha visited the polling booth with her aunt, Padmini Kolhapure, and brother, Siddhanth Kapoor. For the occasion, she opted for a ‘desi’ look, wearing a white printed suit.
A video shared on social media shows Shraddha and Padmini being approached by polling booth workers inside the booth. In the clip, fans eagerly ask for selfies, and Shraddha graciously poses with them, even showing off her ink mark. At one point, fans stopped her from leaving, leading to a brief interaction.
During the Maharashtra Assembly elections, Bollywood’s young stars took a break from their busy schedules to cast their votes. Along with Shraddha Kapoor, stars like Sharvari, Kartik Aaryan, Rasha Thadani, Rakul Preet Singh, and Ali Fazal also made their way to the polling booths.
Meanwhile, Shraddha, who was replaced in Pushpa 2, is rumoured to join the cast of War 2 for a special dance number alongside Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR. Directed by Ayan Mukerji, the film is slated for release in August 2024 and will also star Kiara Advani as the female lead.
