Fans were quite excited when the reports regarding the sequels for ‘Bhagam Bhag’ and ‘Partner’ recently circulated on social media. But the versatile actor Govinda has reportedly said that he hasn’t been approached yet for the sequel of both the superhit movies.
According to Mid-day, Govinda revealed that he was not approached by the makers of ‘Bhagam Bhag’ or ‘Partner’ for a discussion regarding the sequel for both projects yet. The comedy legend further said that to be part of the sequel of any project, there are several key factors to which he gives supreme importance, such as the character, script, and also the director.

Earlier there were reports that Akshay Kumar would be reuniting with Govinda and Paresh Rawal for the sequel of the superhit film ‘Bhagam Bhag.’ Reports also said that Akshay Kumar had bought the rights to ‘Bhagam Bhag 2’ from Shemaroo and is working on the development of the film. Reportedly a new team of writers was assigned to pen down the script for ‘Bhagam Bhag 2,’ which is expected to be infused with comedies and emotions that match the same vibe as the original film.
Directed by the veteran Malayalam filmmaker Priyadarshan, ‘Bhagam Bhag’ hit the big screens on December 22, 2006. With a unique storyline and magnificent performances, the movie turned out to be a super hit and had a huge potential for a sequel. Starring Akshay Kumar, Govinda, Rajpal Yadav, Paresh Rawal, Lara Dutta, and Tanushree Dutta in the lead, ‘Bhagam Bhag’ tells the story of Champak, who is the owner of a local theatre group.
‘Bhagam Bhag’ was an official remake of the superhit classic Malayalam movie ‘Mannar Mathai Speaking’ starring Mukesh, Innocent, and Saikumar in the lead roles.
On the other hand, the makers of ‘Partner’ have reportedly dropped the idea for a sequel.
