The movie marked Junaid Khan’s Bollywood debut, while Shalini portrayed a unique character. The actress is often compared to Bollywood star Alia Bhatt due to her looks and voice. Recently, she addressed these comparisons.
In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, Shalini revealed that she used to feel irritated and upset by such comments. However, over time, she has grown to accept them, even finding the comparisons endearing.
When asked about her reaction to being likened to Alia Bhatt, her co-stars Ananya Panday, Aditi Rao Hydari, Triptii Dimri, Bhumi Pednekar, and others participating in the interview agreed with the observation and pointed out some similarities.

Shalini expressed that while she admires Alia Bhatt, the comparisons initially bothered her because she wanted to be recognized for her individuality. “Earlier, I used to get a little irritated. I love Alia, but I am my own person. See me for who I am,” she shared.
Now, however, she finds the comparisons sweet and no longer feels annoyed. “So now, I am comfortable with it,” she emphasized.
