On January 9, ‘Anyway, I’m Falling in Love with You’ premieres, a slice-of-life romance that captures the struggles and joys of youth. Set against 2020, the drama revolves around Mizuha whose 17th birthday came as a shock when her childhood friend Mizuki confessed his feelings about her. The series speaks about love, self-realization, and resilience among its themes.
‘The Apothecary Diaries’ will be re-telecast on 10 January with season 2, where Maomao becomes a renowned figure in imperial court from a humble status as a maid. She draws upon her individual insight of medicine in the solving of mysteries and staying alive from palace intrigue. On January 11, ‘Sakamoto Days’ has been set for an action comedy that promises a good laugh. The series follows a retired hitman, Tarou Sakamoto, turned store clerk who defends himself against old foes through wits and resourcefulness. Last but not the least, ‘Dr. Stone: Science Future‘ will mark the final installation for the franchise with Senku Ishigami and his friends continuing their work toward rebuilding civilization with new challenges and groundbreaking discoveries.
