Actor Ajith Kumar, an avid motorsport enthusiast, faced a significant car crash during a practice session for an upcoming racing championship in Dubai. While the crash resulted in visible damage to his Porsche 992, Ajith escaped without a scratch.
Fabian Duffieux, team manager and driver for Ajith Kumar Racing, took to social media to reassure fans and share an inspiring perspective on the incident. “Test day 1 done. Ajith is safe, without a scratch, and that’s the most important,” he began, emphasizing the safety of the actor.
Fabian continued with an introspective note on the challenges of motorsports. “Today was another reminder that the journey of learning never ends. No matter the setback, our passion for racing pushes us to keep going, to keep improving, and to keep learning from every experience. The road ahead is still full of lessons, and we are ready to face them all as a team, as a family.”
Earlier when Fabian joined the team of Ajith Kumar Racing, he shared an Instagram post with a caption that read, “Announcement Im really proud to join the new team @ajithkumarracing for their season in the @24hseries on the Porsche 992 cup class I will join Ajith Kumar , a famous Indian Actor and owner of the team , @fdx89 and we’ll be joined by @camymcleod for the 24H races We’ll start our season with the 24h of Dubai then do the full European championship. The technical support will be done by @baskoetenracing After a successful first test day this morning at the @dubaiautodrome I have to say I was impressed by the pace of Ajith after 14 years without being in a racing car and his first time with the Porsche, that’s very promising for the season Thanks to everyone involved in this amazing project.”

Ajith Kumar, a seasoned racer alongside his acting career, is currently in Dubai preparing for the championship, with the first practice session already underway. The ‘Vidaamuyarchi’ actor will be taking part in the 24H Dubai 2025 race which will be held on January 12 and 13.
