Celebrity bodyguard Yusuf Ibrahim recently discussed the challenges of securing stars and shared an incident where Shah Rukh Khan reprimanded a fan for attempting to take a selfie without permission. He highlighted how bodyguards, like those of Shah Rukh and Salman Khan, play a crucial role in ensuring their safety.
In conversation with Siddharth Kanan, Yusuf explained that while the media often seeks viral moments, celebrities are human too. He emphasised that fans should respect boundaries, as it’s not acceptable to approach stars suddenly for a photo, especially when they might not be in the mood. He advised fans to ask politely before taking pictures.
Ibrahim further stressed that fans should remember celebrities are human too. While it’s easy to judge from a video, their lives are far more difficult. Celebrities work long hours, often sitting in makeup for hours and enduring harsh conditions. With little personal time, it’s understandable if they react negatively when their space is invaded.
Yusuf Ibrahim has been responsible for the security of several top celebrities, including Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, and Ananya Panday.
